A few more cards

2 sympathy cards.

A birthday card using up some purple scraps and trying out my lilac embossing powder.

A Basket from my friend Vi & My 1st lace card attempt

A basket designed by my friend Vi for SCAL.
Very 1st lace cardstock attempt using SCAL and Wingding2 flourishes. This piece of lace measures 8" x 5". I have it sitting on a piece of red to show it off. Will probably use it as part of a page.

More Card Challenges to Catch up on!

Make a birthday card. How about this yummy pink & brown glitter cardstock from DCWV The Glitter Stack?
Could not resist using this Daisy Ribbon again for a ribbon challenge.
Use pink, red & white.
Use a flower stamp.

Stamp to Lose Catchin' Up on Challenges

Dry embossing. I enhanced the images with pastel chalks. I don't have the cuttlebug, but I have a light box and stencils. I thought it turned out cute.
Used watercolor pencils on this Easter Basket.
Use greens & yellows. I absolutely liked adding the glitter to this thick ribbon to pretty up the sunflowers.
Use a flourish with some glitter.
Use a new stamp. The easter egg stamp was new. Don't really like the way this card came out. But what's done is done.
This card was to be Buttons & Blues.
This card was to be an animal card. It didn't take much because this cute paper from DCWV just screams!

Finally the much talked about Paper Bag Albums

All 9 of them! The outside cover was different for each girl. The insides were mostly the same for each girl with the exception of one or two pictures. The rest of the pictures that follow were taken before I bound them. The pics were easier to take that way. NOW WHAT WILL I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT?

Pages 1 & 2

This is how the season started at the introduction night in August before football season. All the players & cheerleaders were introduced as well at the coaches. This is one of their stunt routines and the pic on page 2 is the entire Varsity Squad less one softball player.

Large Pullout tag #1

This is the 1st large pullout tag. It has the names of the Varsity Cheerleaders on one side and a variety of pics on the otherside - depending on the girl. I love this picture of my daughter and another of the cheerleaders. My daughter is the one on your left.

Homecoming Bonfire

The Homecoming Bonfire took forever to design a layout. I just couldn't decide on the paper. I finally went with the bandana print in blue & white and the straw paper. I also loved the way the paisleys from Stretch Your Imagination added to the pages. Picture 3 is small pullout #1 which is underneath the individual pic of the girls you will see in the next post. It is of one of the flag runners when we score. This one also happens to be my daughter's boyfriend!

Pages 5 & 6 & Large Pullout Tag #2

The first pic is different in each book. It is some type of individual picture of the cheerleader. The opposing page is a picture of the seniors at a football game. The last picture is a picture of the seniors at camp and on the back of it is a stamped "Friends" place for autographs.

Pages 7 & 8 & small pullout tag #2

These are the girls lining up waiting for the football players to run thru the tunnel and out on the field. The 2nd page is the seniors at the football playoffs. The last pic is of the small pullout tag on under the senior playoff pic. It is a closeup of the tatoos the girls wear on their cheeks.

large pullout tag #3

This is the 3rd large pullout tag it is what the girls huddle up with at the end and beginning of the games.

Pages 9 & 10 & Back Cover

These are the last 2 pages - Basketball and the back cover. The picture of the backcover isn't great, but it is the school song.
